Meet the Trustee: David Villa
David C. Villa joined the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF) Board of Trustees in January 2018.

Mr. Villa is the chief investment officer for the State of Wisconsin Investment Board, where he is responsible for implementing the investment policy and developing the architecture of the overall investment program. He also sits on the boards of directors of the Marguerite Casey Foundation and the Madison College Foundation.

A chartered financial analyst and certified public accountant, Mr. Villa has more than 35 years of experience in the financial services profession. He previously served as chief investment officer for the Florida State Board of Administration, and also worked for UBS Global Asset Management/Brinson Partners in Chicago as an executive director and client relationship manager.

Mr. Villa began his career with First Chicago and Arthur Andersen.

Mr. Villa holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Princeton University, a master’s degree in Latin American Studies from Stanford University, and an MBA in finance and accounting from Northwestern University.
